Racine Station Loomis Entrance Reopens
How does this affect my trip?
The Racine Blue Line station’s auxiliary entrance/exit at Loomis will reopen Mon, Oct 5. The entrance/exit features a new ADA-compliant ramp for entry.
Enter/exit the Racine station at either the Loomis entrance/exit or the main entrance/exit located two blocks east of Loomis on Racine.
Why is service being changed?
The work at the Racine station is part of the Blue Line Forest Park Branch Rebuild project.

Boarding Change, Delays Between Addison and Montrose
How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit trains on the Forest Park-bound side of the platform at the Irving Park station.
Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Addison and Montrose, resulting in minor delays.
Allow extra travel time.
Why is service being changed?
We are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Blue Line.

Buses are rerouted due to the Bank of America Chicago Marathon set-up and clean-up.

Eastbound #7 Harrison and #126 Jackson, and southbound #143 Stockton/Michigan Express and #147 Outer DuSable Lake Shore Express buses will end their trips at Michigan/Harrison.
Westbound #7 and #126, and northbound #143 buses will begin their trips at Harrison/Michigan, operate via Harrison, Wabash, Balbo, and Michigan to Ida B. Wells, then continue their normal route on Michigan.
Northbound #147 buses will begin their trips at Harrison/Michigan, operate via Harrison and State to Ida B. Wells, then continue their normal route on State.

Southbound #136 Clarendon/LaSalle Express and #146 Inner Lake Shore/Michigan Express buses will operate via Foster, DuSable Lake Shore Drive, and Lawrence, then resume their normal route on Marine Drive.
Southbound #148 Clarendon/Michigan Express buses will operate via Foster, DuSable Lake Shore Drive, and Lawrence, then resume their normal route on Clarendon.
Northbound buses are not affected.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to utility maintenance on Marine at Foster.
