Colorful train cars with the message "Ride with pride!"

All aboard and ride with pride

To celebrate Pride Month, the CTA will once again roll the Pride Train into service to celebrate the dynamism and continuing evolution of the LGBTQ+ community. Celebrating its ninth anniversary, the train will begin service on the Red Line on Monday, June 1.

This year’s train features a new exterior design that uses bold, vertical waving stripes of color that cover the entirety of the eight-car train. The 2026 design continues to embrace the classic Pride Flag colors while also including colors representing LGBTQ+ people of color with black and brown stripes and the trans color trio.

The Pride Train continues CTA’s tradition of celebrating and supporting Chicago’s LGBTQ+ community while creating a welcoming and vibrant experience for riders throughout Pride Month.
