The CTA Small Business program is designed to give certified small businesses an opportunity to bid as primes on CTA contracts.

Please note that each solicitation available for download will include all forms required to submit a complete bid to the CTA, including special conditions regarding the Small Business Program.
In addition, all contracting opportunities for the Chicago Transit Authority are advertised in the classified section of the Chicago Tribune newspaper.
Contract opportunities
CTA is pleased to announce the Contract Opportunities Portal through which solicitations are posted and where bids and proposals will be submitted. As of July 6, 2020 CTA will conduct virtual bid openings for Invitations for Bids through Zoom.
Effective July 6, 2020, CTA has transitioned to electronic submission through the Contract Opportunities Portal. Companies wishing to respond to procurements must register and upload their submissions through the contract opportunities portal, available at https://transitchicago.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities.
NOTE: You must register with the Contract Opportunities Portal even if you are a current CTA registered vendor or currently do business with CTA. Hard copy responses are no longer accepted for procurements due on or after July 6, 2020. Registration is easy and free. Please be sure to select NAICS codes associated with your type of business or organization. Our solicitations are set up using those codes and will be matched to vendors and contractors with the same codes.
